Top Cheap Web Hosting Providers

Top Cheap Web Hosting Providers

Low-cost hosting suppliers are great but only if they provide very good support. Therefore, pricing is not the only factor I assessed to make this list of top email hosting services uk

dreamshot cheap webhosting provider

I’m really impressed by this Los Angeles based hosting provider. DreamHost has existed since 1996 and it now hosts over 1.5 million websites.

They offer you a rounded hosting service that’s suitable for novices and bigger jobs. In addition to that, their goods have a fair price.

DreamHost Costs:

Shared Starter: $3.95 a month for 1 site. Email is paid individually starting at $19.95 each year.

Shared Unlimited: $9.95 per month for unlimited websites, storage and email accounts.

The above prices are for 1-year deals, and you can purchase monthly and 3-year plans also. For the term of your purchase, DreamHost won’t do cheaper offers unlike other suppliers.

Performance: Outstanding speed and uptime records in our evaluations.

Truly unlimited: Unlike many of their competitors they don’t sneakily use inodes to limit the storage you can have.

97-day money-back coverage: When after 97 days you are not happy with their solutions, you can claim your money back.

Support: I just had great experiences with their support.

Missing 1-click installations: Oddly, their control panel only comes with 1-click installations for a couple CMSs like WordPress or Zen Cart.

Just US-location servers: They just have servers in the US, this might not be well suited for you when the bulk of your visitors is located elsewhere (e.g. Europe).

Entry-level email accounts paid individually: Should you need email accounts with the Starter plan, those are paid separately ($19.95 a year).

Lost advanced attributes: Actually if DreamHost is great enough to host really big websites, some advanced features those websites may need are not offered. For instance, no staging places, server-side caching or a cutting edge backup system.

Who should use DreamHost?

If the bulk of your traffic comes in North America and you would like a hosting provider that offers great value for the money, DreamHost is the very best option.

Siteground is a cheap hosting service

This Bulgarian provider started its hosting providers back in 2004. SiteGround has more than 400 employees and hosts .

I am really impressed with their product (performance, support and features), and we’ve been using them for a couple of their own endeavors here in Tooltester (e.g. ChatToolTester is hosted on SiteGround). If they aren’t at the top of this ranking it’s because they are somewhat more expensive than average — but the quality also increases.

SiteGround Costs:

GoGeek: $34.95 per month for 30 GB of storage, infinite websites and higher functionality.

The aforementioned prices mention 1-year prices, but be aware that the full amount has to be paid beforehand. On top of deals, you might buy bargains that are 24-months and 36-months. SiteGround offers discounts that are amazing for the first purchase term — around 3x cheaper. So it may be a fantastic idea as long as possible, to lock at the lower speed.

Pros Cons

Easy to use: I find that their control panel logically structured and intuitive.

Performance: SiteGround’s bandwidth and speed records are excellent as you can see in our tests.

Support: Most of my experience with SiteGround’s support agents have been (very) positive.

Cutting edge features: I really like some of their most innovative capabilities. For example: their on-demand backup system, speed optimization plugins, easy-to-create (and deploy) staging places and pre-installed Git repositories.

Server location: Pick to host your site in the US, Europe (Amsterdam or London) or Asia (Singapore).

Prices: They are not the cheapest hosting provider on this list, you are going to want a decent budget. They don’t offer deals.

Not infinite storage: Even if they are quite generous with the offered storage, this isn’t unlimited.

Migration plugin: Though the support team consistently helped me, I had several issues with their WordPress migration plugin.

Who must use SiteGround?

Anybody who desires the highest quality and is happy to pay a bit more. I think it’s a fantastic match for projects like agencies or bloggers. If you are a developer, the innovative features of SiteGround may make your life easier. And online shop owners will be happy to hear that SiteGround’s higher strategy is PCI (compliant with recommended e-commerce safety criteria ).
